Join us for Gallo Dance Studio’s 18th Annual Recital Showcase, "In the Spotlight", featuring over 200 dancers ages 2–18! This exciting event celebrates a full season of hard work, growth, and passion, and we are thrilled to take the stage at the beautiful Virginia Theatre for the very first time
This year, we are proud to present three unique showcases, each thoughtfully designed to create a more enjoyable viewing experience for our families and guests. By offering shorter, high-energy performances, each show allows our dancers to truly shine on stage.

Each showcase features a dynamic mix of routines from both our recreational and competitive programs, highlighting the incredible range of talent across our studio, from our tiniest dancers who are sure to steal your heart, to our advanced performers showcasing their technique and artistry.

Volunteer Arrival Time: 8:30am for 10am Show, 1pm for 2:30pm Show, and 5:30pm for 7pm Show
Doors at 9am for 10am Show, 1:30pm for 2:30pm show, and 6pm for 7pm Show
Volunteer dress code: black pants, white shirt, close-toed shoes. Virginia Theatre branded vests are provided to volunteers upon arrival to be used during the shift then returned.

Ticket Taking

Our address is 203 W. Park Ave Champaign, IL 61820. Please enter through the front entrance.
Parking is available at meters, weekends are free. Parking is also available in Hickory lot after 5pm on Weekdays and after 12pm on weekends.
Parking in the church lot and Eden's lot is strictly prohibited.
- Let us know you're here! Find a VT staff member once you've arrived and we will direct you to our conference room so you can sign in for your shift via a wall-mounted iPad.
- Once you grab a signature VT vest, enjoy any snacks and beverages before the volunteer event orientation!
