Chaz Ebert and Nate Kohn are proud to announce "Ebertfest: The Last Dance", the 2026 Roger Ebert’s Film Festival in celebration of over twenty-five years at the historic Virginia Theatre in downtown Champaign, Illinois!
Roger Ebert’s Film Festival ("Ebertfest") celebrates all films, genres, and formats, even those that have been overlooked by distributors, audiences, and/or critics. These include independent, international, and studio films whether or not they won wide audiences, overlooked formats such as 70mm, and overlooked genres such as documentaries and musicals.

Set-Up Shifts: Thur and first shift of the day Fri-Sat. (short shifts)
Movie Shifts: Fri-Sat, second, third and fourth shifts of the day. (4-5
hour shifts)

REQUIRED ATTIRE: Attire is black pants and a white shirt. We have black Virginia Theatre vests that you can wear over the shirt. There will be a limited number of Ebertfest Volunteer t-shirts that are also acceptable to wear and keep. If you have an Ebertfest Volunteer t-shirt from past years, please feel free to wear that.
