Join Us for Spring Flower Planting with Champaign Park District
Help us brighten our parks by planting early spring flowers like pansies and snapdragons. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while making a difference in your community.
Tentative Date: April 2, 2025 (subject to change based on weather)
Planting Locations & Times:
Dodds Park: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Bresnan Meeting Center: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Dodds Tennis Center: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Additional Details:
- Volunteers may choose to participate at one or multiple locations.
- Transportation between locations will not be provided, so volunteers will need to drive themselves if participating at more than one site.
- Parking will be available at each location.
- Please bring your own gardening gloves; all other tools will be provided.
- If the date changes due to weather, staff will contact you with updated details.
How to Sign Up: Volunteers must register through our Volunteer Portal to participate. If you would like to help at all locations, be sure to sign up for all shifts.
