We’re hosting a fun-filled Reading Adventure Event where kids of all ages can enjoy engaging stories, silent reading time, and interactive activities. Volunteers are essential in making this event a success!
There are three volunteer shifts available:
Set-Up Shift (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM): Help set up event stations, including the bookmark-making station and computer reading area.
Event Support Shift (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Assist at the bookmark-making station, help with the computer reading station, and ensure attendees have a great experience.
Clean-Up Shift (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Help clean up the event space and pack up supplies.
Important Information for Volunteers:
- Volunteer sign-up is required. Choose the shift that works best for you—or sign up for more than one!
- Dress appropriately for a kid-friendly event—comfortable, casual attire is recommended.
- Sign in and out of your shift using the Volunteer Portal or Get Connected app to ensure your hours are recorded.
