Krannert Center Presents: "Dracula, a Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really" (Multiple Dates)

Expired

Description

**Please do not sign up for this volunteer opportunity if you have not completed the Virginia Theatre orientation**

In Kate Hamill’s delightful, action-rich reimagining of the Bram Stoker classic Dracula, it’s a few spunky and skillful women who drive the action.

Careening from horror to hilarity, from blood-stained castles to pristine English drawing rooms, Hamill’s heroines skewer monstrosities and outmoded ideals of femininity along the way. With plenty of jump scares, blood spatters, and spooky stuff, this revenge isn’t just fantasy. It may empower us all to fight back against the monsters we face. And it’s fun – really!

Presented by the University of Illinois Department of Theatre.
