Prepare to illuminate the holiday season during Winter Nights at Prairie Farm. This free, immersive experience begins the Friday after Thanksgiving and runs through the first of the new year, featuring festive light displays that transform the picturesque farm into a winter wonderland. On Friday and Saturday evenings, guests can warm up with complimentary hot cocoa, courtesy of the Champaign Parks Foundation.
Volunteers will prepare the hot cocoa, set up donation materials, and cheerfully hand out hot cocoa to attendees. They will also explain that donations are welcomed, with all proceeds benefiting the Champaign Park District (further details on donation allocations will be provided).
Volunteers are expected to arrange for a replacement is in place if they are unable to fulfill their scheduled shift.
